Well, thank you. I’m glad we met. :)
1. Your house is on fire. What are you going to save?
My backpack, laptop, all my jeans and my dog.
2. If you were part of a band what would you do? (backup vocal, main, bass, guitar, drums, keyboard, songwriter, random chick who dances in the background of the music videos…)
Probably backup vocal.
3. Name a pet peeve (or a few). Why does it irk you? (Is people saying irk a pet peeve? Don’t you hatee it?)
People saying ‘swag’ randomly and repeatedly - I like cool people, but I don’t like people that say they are cool frequently and arbitrarily, because that kinda ruins it, you can’t say you are cool and be cool, well… unless you are really really cool like Tom Hanks. And by saying swag you kinda signify that you or what you’re doing is cool and that’s not cool after awhile.
People coming to class unprepared, borrowing my pencils, then losing them - Because now I have no pencils and I’m not ready for class.
People recklessly overusing the word “love” - Oh, you found my wallet, I LOVE YOU. Oh, that sweater is pink, I LOVE IT. Oh, it’s friday, I LOVE MY LIFE. Is there any magic left in this word anymore?
People saying ‘I’m just saying’ - I know you are.
4. What would be incredible last words?
So long, partner. DFTBA.
5. What’s an issue that you genuinely care about and would fight for?
Human rights for the LGBTQ community and cancer research.
6. Hidden talent’s anyone? Or not really known? Or simply something you are talented at.
I’m pretty good at fact checking, I’ve won a lot of prizes for being the fastest to look up words on the dictionary, also I can draw eyes pretty well.
7. Press command v. or control v. (last thing you copied.)
[Blank]
8. For some people asking for your favourite book is like asking for you favourite bealtles song. What are your thoughts about that?
I agree, there’re so many good ones it’s hard to pick, and the ones you pick tell a lot about who you are.
9. A song that you just can’t get out of your head?
Not Over You by Gavin Degraw.
10. Who are your three favourite people you know in real life, and three people you may have never spoken to?
Mann there’re so many people in my life who inspire me, if I really have to pick they’d be:
Thuy, my best friend: we’re both equally clueless about the world and that’s why we’re so good together. Thuy’s amazing, she’s very mature, but very childish at the same time, she always has the best of both. She’s very responsible, hardworking and always ready to help others even though she doesn’t know how.
Ms. Fry, my Career Choice teacher: she’s very caring of everyone of her students and since all my family is in Thailand, she’s the closest thing to a mother to me.
Felix Wang, my Dream Project mentor: he’s really helped me sort out my past and prepared me for my future. He’s everything I wanted to be in 5 years and one of the reasons why I wanted to attend the University of Washington.
My favorite people who I haven’t met or spoken to would be: Ellen and Portia (they count as one), Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Meryl Streep.
11. Fictional character you have to meet, or a person you’d bring back to life.
My friend Buddy (short for Buddareeya, she’s Muslim) who’s just passed away this week, Augustus Waters, and Sam from The Perks of Being A Wallflower.
